‘A Body of Water’ is Dave Joyce’s debut play.

Show Poster

The story follows Neil O Mara, an Irishman now living in the UK. Many years ago he was a scapegoat for a murder, which forced Neil to flee rather than face the consequences for a crime he did not commit. He tries to reach out to his son, Eoin, to resolve their past issues. But people are looking for Neil too, and the present and past will now come together for some exciting and gripping storytelling.

The creation of ‘A Body of Water’ came to fruition due to the mentorship of Galway theatre maker Eileen Gibbons and a bursary award from Arts and Disability Ireland. The show runs at 30 minutes and is followed by a Q+A directly after the showcase. It will take place at the O’ Donoghue Theatre Centre, studio at 1pm, May 7th.
