Cleite | feather

By James Riordan

She waits. The sun sets. Sailors die.
A feather blows in the Atlantic wind, coming to a stop on her doorstep.
It was only a matter of time.

Brú presents Cleite | feather, a site specific story inspired by the fisherwomen of the Claddagh told through song, mask and movement.

Presented in Katie’s Cottage, a unique traditional Irish stone cottage nestled in the Claddagh neighbourhood, across the river from Galway’s Spanish Arch.

Supported by Galway City Museum.
