Talk: Everything that Rises: The Future of Galway Theatre

Feb 27, 2018

by galwaytheatrefestival

What does the future look like for the independent theatre community in Galway? With economic recovery said to be underway, and a European City of Culture title on the horizon, what structures and opportunities are being put in place to ensure sustainable careers for the theatre sector? What can we do, as a community, to forge the best possible future for ourselves?

Led by Róisín Stack, the discussion will feature theatre makers from other cities who have successfully galvanised their communities and guaranteed a better future for theatre artists. See the event page closer to the time for full details.

If you are involved in independent theatre in Galway in any way, this event is for you. Please come, join the discussion and help shape your future.
