In a museum populated with family photos, battered VHS tapes and fidget spinners, Greg Carrigan guides us through the story of a once happy family: his own, in the years following the birth of his daughter, Cassie. But as the path winds deeper into the exhibition and the Carrigans’ wholesome facade begins to splinter, a new voice interjects: one that will slowly unravel the narrative veil Greg has placed over the sad and sinister events of the past.
Part radio play, part museum tour, part puzzle box, Possession is an immersive solo experience that uses audio and objects to tell the tale of a troubled family, through the lens of their prized belongings – and the spirits that linger on within them. Audience members are free to touch, explore and interact with these objects however they choose, hearing all the intimate, ugly memories bound up in them… but whose story are they truly listening to? And what parts will remain unheard?
Small groups of x2 audience members will be admitted every 15 minutes. Performance runs for a total of 50 minutes, and performances will begin every 15 minutes. Latecomers will not be permitted. Please arrive on time
