Alaoise Scherer is an Irish-French multidisciplinary artist working through performance, with a research-based approach centred on embodied practice and spirituality. Alaoise works part time as the Access Coordinator with An Taibhdhearc. In 2026 Alaoise directed ‘SWEAT’ by Ari Bhatti which premiered in Galway Theatre Festival, and continued to Cork Fringe and Dublin Fringe Festival. She also directed Grace Hurley’s ‘Dyke on Dyke Road’ for its run in Cork Fringe Festival 2026. Alaoise is currently working on a series of networking events for queer artists, Ealaíonrú, funded by Galway City Council’s Creative Practitioner Bursary. She is developing a creative producing practice around themes of care and embodiment; queering the notion of networking.

Andrew Galvin is a playwright, performer, musician, academic and poet from the West of Ireland whose work focuses on grief and queer masculinity. They have written, performed and produced theatre for the Earagail Arts Festival (The Crowning Guest; The Fool & the Moon) and the Scene + Heard festival of new work (Cleanup On Aisle Masculinity; Death Notice Disco). In 2026 they presented Death Notice Disco at the Cairde Festival Sligo and at the Westend Theatre & Arts Festival. Their ongoing collaboration with artist Taryn de Vere (A Chaotic Embrace: A Perpetual Performance Art Wedding) has been performed six times across Ireland, including at Void Art Gallery in Derry. They are also developing a new method for devising theatre called Grief Cartography, presented at conferences of the Irish Society for Theatre Research and the International Federation for Theatre Research.

Remee Cunningham is a Galway-based playwright, dramaturg and theatre maker whose work explores mythology, memory, grief and queerness through dark comedy, surrealism and absurdity. Her practice is rooted in the stories we inherit, bury and invent to survive. Remee has developed and performed work in Ireland, the UK and the US, and works as a dramaturg supporting artists from early concept through to performance. She has worked as a Script Reader for the Abbey Theatre, in marketing roles with Cork Opera House and the National Opera House, and in casting for film and television. Since moving to Galway, Remee has collaborated with organisations including Galway International Arts Festival and Baboró, and she currently works part-time with Town Hall Theatre.

Ikenna Anyabuike is a multidisciplinary Afro-surrealist artist whose practice has been shaped by mentorships such as the Baptiste Programme at Smock Alley, Pan-Pan Theatre and Axis Assemble. Blackness is central to his understanding of surreality, and the shape of a work is as important as its content. His writing credits include the devised play 'The Kinds of Sex You Might Have in College' with Active* Consent, text for dancer Mufutau Yusuf’s piece 'Impasse' and was selected for the 'Dreaming Still' book compilation presented at the Douglas Hyde Art Gallery, Dublin. He has also worked internationally as assistant director. He is currently funded to write 'The Text Of It All', a work responding to speeches by Irish women throughout history and situating them within a tale of migration and will release an independently published book alongside a theatre performance, 'You Will Rejoice'created in collaboration with Maclaine Black, which premiered on in July at Studio Acephale, Berlin.

Amy Walsh is a writer, comedian, musician, actor and dancer. She holds a BA in Drama, Theatre, & Performance from the University of Galway. Over the last seven years, Amy has written and performed her standup comedy nationally and internationally at festivals such as Just for Laughs Vancouver, Electric Picnic, All Together Now, Edinburgh Fringe, and Barcelona Fringe. She has opened for top acts like Des Bishop, Michelle Wolf, Kya Cobbler, Shane Todd, and Katie Boyle. In 2025, Amy was the recipient of an Arts Council Agility Award to develop a multidisciplinary show utilising storytelling and music. Amy would like to continue to combine her unique skill sets to make work that is funny as well as hopeful.

Kathryn Uliana is a theatre artist working in comedy and intercultural themes, and co-founder of Galway collective Closing Call. After completing her undergraduate degree at the American University of Rome, wherein she co-founded and ran the University’s Dramatic Arts Society, Kathryn relocated to Galway to pursue writing further. Since receiving her master's degree in Drama, Theatre and Performance at the University of Galway, she has co-founded the Galway-based theatrical collective Closing Call with fellow alumna Siobhra O’Farrell. Through this collective, she has written and directed shows such as The Fool, which debuted at the Town Hall Theatre in June, and On The Verge, which was performed as part of Galway’s Westend Theatre & Arts Festival. Kathryn has a background in music, acting, and dance, as well as in writing and directing for both stage and screen.
