GTF Announces New Creative Director!

Galway Theatre Festival is delighted to announce Aoife Noone as the incoming Creative Director of GTF! Aoife has worked with GTF in a range of roles, from volunteer, to intern to Membership Manager. She has been GTF General Manager since 2019. A Galway native, Aoife holds a B.A. in Public and Social Policy and an M.A. in Drama and Theatre Studies from NUI Galway.

Aoife has a passion for promoting new writing and new theatre companies, and her goal is to give them the platform they deserve. Aoife will bring this passion and experience to bear in the role of Creative Director of Galway Theatre Festival, as it enters an exciting new phase in its development.

The Galway Theatre Festival Board of Directors and team would like to take this opportunity to thank our outgoing Director, Sorcha Keane for her significant contribution to GTF and the Galway arts sector over the past 3 years, and wish her every success in the next phase of her career.
